A collaboration centred on rainwear

For this fourth edition of the Soeur x K-Way® collaboration, the two houses continue their work on rainwear. On one side, Soeur’s generous cuts and Parisian sensibility; on the other, K-Way®’s technical expertise, which has made the windbreaker an everyday piece. The capsule collection brings together pieces designed for the city and rainy days, in sesame and chocolate tones, alongside the returning putty and charcoal grey shades of the Pradel trench coat.

Recycled, water-repellent nylon exclusive to the collection

Every piece is cut from ‘2.1 Amiable’ nylon, a 100% recycled, GRS (Global Recycled Standard) certified fabric developed by K-Way®’s research and development team exclusively for this collaboration. Its Ripstop structure strengthens the fabric, while its production requires 40% less energy than that of a standard textile. Lightweight, water-repellent, windproof and breathable, it moves with the body without weighing down the silhouette.

Hooded trench coat, rain hood and women’s raincoat

Reissued for the new season, the Pradel trench coat combines the codes of a parka and a hooded trench coat. Its oversized, A-line shape can be worn over light layers or a coat; heat-sealed seams keep water out, while side press studs provide access to pockets. The Gill hood, a one-size, unisex hooded bib, borrows its lines from a cap and folds easily into a bag. More structured, the Gillian raincoat has the air of a cape: darts, natural folds and elasticated details allow its volume to be adjusted.

How to wear a Soeur x K-Way® raincoat

These pieces are designed to be layered. The Pradel trench coat slips over our women’s coats in wool and carries through the spirit of an oversized coat on rainy days. For the drape of a trench coat, we recommend choosing one size below your usual size. The Gill hood slips beneath one of our women’s jackets and brings a sportswear note to a classic look: wide-leg trousers, a pullover with a round collar and ankle boots.
